As Parent and/or Guardian of the named angler, I hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minors life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed. RECEIVING, ACCEPTING OR TAKING OF FISH FROM ANOTHER PERSON during tournament hours is strictly prohibited. If one angler of the team is a Member of WWBYS ($37.50) but the other teammate is a Non-Member ($50), the total fee collected would be $87.50 for the team. TOBACCO PRODUCTS: The use of any tobacco products or smoking prior to/during takeoff, from check-in through weigh-in, and while cameras are present is prohibited. Contestants must fish in an area that is accessible by WWBT staff, media, and camera personnel as deemed by the tournament director. Contestant agrees that the integrity and competitive honesty of fishing contests is paramount to any bass fishing tournament circuits continued existence and success. They must consult with tournament director immediately. Refusing to comply may result in a penalty or tournament disqualification. Marshals/Observers are not allowed to operate or work on the competitors personal cameras. When partners check out at the beginning of the day, they must stay together and within sight of each other and their catch throughout the day except in case of emergency or bathroom break. HORSEPOWER REGULATIONS: MAXIMUM HORSEPOWER FOR ALL OUTBOARD MOTOR BOATS USED IN OPEN TOURNAMENT PRACTICE AND IN TOURNAMENT COMPETITION WILL not exceed the limitations set by the U.S. Coast Guard. Contestants are encouraged to pre-sign for events giving them priority entry and also greatly helping the tournament organization with preparation details. If the child knowingly participates in an event with any of the symptoms in relation to COVID-19 this will be ruled as unsportsmanlike conduct and the board will make a decision on whether the child will be allowed to attend future events. This preserver must be strapped, snapped or zippered securely and maintained in that condition until the combustion engine is shut off. Adding weight in any way to alter the natural state of any fish caught is prohibited. ADVISORY BOARD: An Advisory Board will be established by WWBT. Contestants boats must access fishable water under its own power and only with the assistance of the Pro and Co-Anglers assigned to that boat. Weather delays on competition days resulting in half of the tournament day being lost (first flight take-off and check-in) may result in cancellation. Memberships are required to participate in the WWBYS West Coast Championship. 15 FISHABLE WATERS: Fishing within 50 feet of an operating gas pump/dock or within 50 feet of a competitors boat, which is first anchored, is prohibited (Trolling motors must be in up position, anchor rope visible, or shallow water anchoring system deployed to be considered anchored). WWBT contestants are required to police themselves each competition day. 6) Gathering of people may be limited as mandated by state or local government. Operational navigation lights must be illuminated from takeoff to the first stop of each day. I also waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photograph or video or audio recording. Under these two conditions, both contestants catches may be counted without a penalty (except for late penalties, dead fish penalties or other penalties pertaining to other tournament rules) provided that the co-anglers fish are adequately marked so as to provide clear distinction of the pros catch and the co-anglers catch to the tournament director. There are then two permitted methods of returning to the check-in: (1) by both paired anglers remaining in their boat and being towed by water, or (2) by one or both paired anglers entering the boat of another tournament contestant. If tournament officials determine a Pro has operated the boat in such a manner as to unfairly handicap his/her co-angler, they shall be disqualified. 3 Disqualification from the current tournament.
